• This part requires software activation to function on certain models. After installing the heated grip kit, the heated function will not operate until a KTM authorized dealership connects to the bike and *activates* the feature using a diagnostic tool.
• *For 2024 KTM 390 Duke Owners: To determine if your motorcycle requires dealer activation, please check your bike’s onboard menu for a “heated grip” setting *before* installation. If this option is not available, you will need to schedule a dealership visit for software activation (a “software flash”) after the kit is installed.
