ENGINE PROTECTOR EXTENSION FOR CENTRAL STAND
Increase the protection of the lower area of the BMW R1300GS, including the engine casing, exhaust headers, catalytic converter, and central stand with Puig’s engine protector extension.
Specifically designed for the new version of the German maxitrail, it fits perfectly onto the motorcycle’s central stand, enhancing protection of the exhaust pipe and complementing Puig’s engine casing protector (Ref.21829).
Durable and lightweight, the protective plate along with the extension features a simple yet aggressive design that enhances the adventurous image of the GS1300.
Its installation improves protection of sensitive parts such as the engine undersides from damage due to impacts from rocks, mud, especially during off-road riding.
The bottom of the protective plate is flat to facilitate lifting the motorcycle when needed, and in case of needing to clear an obstacle by dragging the casing, it promotes sliding.
It incorporates openings to ensure proper ventilation by allowing airflow, preventing accumulation of debris like stones, sand, water inside, and enabling maintenance operations such as oil changes without the need to dismantle the protector.
