SHW (parent company of the performance division) has a proud history and is one of few companies in the world that can trace its roots back over an incredible 650 years to 1365! SHW Performance produces OE brake discs for many high-performance European models meaning these are the same type & brand of brake discs that originally came on the vehicle from the factory. SHW initially began extracting iron ore and carrying out smelting activities around the area of Konigsbronn, Germany which marked the birthplace of both the plant and SHW (Schwabische Huttenwerke, translates to Swabian Smelting Works).
